Wisdom of Swami Vishwananda: pleasing God...

"When one comes under the direction of the Teacher, a Master, one surrenders not to his own will, but to the Will of the Master. Whatever one does is to please the Master; one does whatever the Master says. But above all, know that you’re not pleasing only the Master, but you are pleasing God above all, because the Master doesn’t need your pleasing. Even God doesn’t need your pleasing. But you, out of love, out of surrender, out of joy, you’re offering everything."

Wisdom of Swami Vishwananda: The Masters don't come here for themselves..

"It’s not you who are serving the Master, but the Master who is serving you, all the time. Whether you know it or you don’t know it, it’s the Master that is serving you. The Masters don’t come here for themselves. They come to lift you all up. So taking the example of the life of saints, taking the example of the life of great ones, we learn a lot; we learn how to develop selfless Love, unconditional Love and humility."

Wisdom of Swami Vishwananda: The Satguru is the boatman...

"Life is like entering a boat; on the, ocean of Samsara, the boat will guide, it will be going. The boatman, is the Satguru, but which boat you want to enter? You have to know the destination, where the boat will lead you. Without knowing the destination, don’t just enter any boat!"
