The Network, a non-governmental
organization in official relationship with
the World Health Organization (WHO),
promotes collaborations in medical
education, health services, and research
that address the health care needs of local
communities.
FAIMER co-sponsors The Network’s
journal, Education for Health, which
publishes original manuscripts on medical
education research and practice. FAIMER
staff members John Boulet, Ph.D.,
Associate Vice President for Research
and Data Resources, and William
Burdick, M.D., M.S.Ed., Associate Vice
President for Education and Co-Director
of the FAIMER Institute, are members of
the journal’s editorial board. In addition,
FAIMER sponsors regional FAIMER
Fellows to participate in the annual
Network meeting.
