Storing Fresh Produce for Better Taste

Store in the refrigerator
apples (more than 7 days)
apricots
berries (black-, blue-, rasp-, and straw-)
cherries
figs
Asian pears

artichokes
asparagus
lima beans
beets
endive
broccoli
Brussels sprouts
cabbage

cauliflower
celery
any cut vegetables
green onions
herbs (except basil)
leafy veggies
leeks
lettuce
mushrooms
peas
radishes
spinach
sprouts
summer squashes
sweet corn

Ripen on counter, then store in refrigerator

plumcots/pluots

Store only at room temperature
