RA Ali heard the Prophet Muhammad said,''I really do not worry about a believer or an idolater of my people. A believer of God will be nurtured by faith rather than deeds bother them and a God to break the polytheists will cause interference with kemusyrikannya from them.

But I'm very worried about a hypocrite clever tongue, to say anything you know and do what ye deny ...'' (Nahjul Balaghah: 114).

Prophet in the hadith reminds us about the dangers of hypocrites, that is, people who 'two-faced', the birth look good, but his heart was evil. By birth they are good, as if they were our friends, our enemies when they are. They are also clever tongue, his speech was amazing and convincing, but his actions conflict with their own words.

In front of us they claim the defense of truth, justice, human rights fighters, and warriors of democracy. But, it turns out they are a barrier of truth, destroyer of justice, human rights abusers, and inhibiting democracy.

They also claimed defender and helper of the weak people, it turns out they are fraudsters (traitor) and zhalim people against the weak. In fact, they easily could have sworn by Allah and the Koran over his head, but their actions turned out to deceive God and contrary to the directives of the Qur'an.

''Hypocrites, men and women, some of them with some of the others are the same, they had made an unjust act of kindness and forbid (good) and they menggenggamkan hand. They have forgotten Allah. So, God forgot about them. Verily the hypocrites are those who rebel.''(QS At-Taubah: 67).

As Muslims, we need to always be alert to their trickery. If not, their guile can destroy Islam itself. Caliph Umar ibn al Khattab was killed because the act of hypocrites. Similarly, the unrest in the Caliph Uthman ibn Affan and civil war that occurred in the period of Caliph Ali ibn Abi Talib.

So, do not close the possibility of unrest, chaos, and feuds that occurred during this also caused hypocrites. Allah forbade them became our friends or leaders and helpers we (Sura 4:144), because they will only hurt us. By this, God willing, we will not go wrong choosing leaders or helpers hypocrite who would only harm us.
